UV Skate

This is a UV-Skate takeover of a skatepark in Sweden.

Our goal with this campaign proposition was to strengthen the brand of Junkyard.se outside their digital platform. Junkyard art is an ongoing image branding presence on -and offline; where the company will be given the possibility to communicate different types of campaignstrategies that are appliable on the street/snow/skate–and surf lifestyles.

Sweet branding of 2008: Converse - My Drive Thru

As we sum up the year behind us, I just wanted to give a heads up for what I personally think is one of the best branding campaigns I’ve seen in 2008. Celebrating 100 years in the business, Converse thought it would be neat to give their customers some cool shit. And cool shit they gave us.

And with this I wish you a happy new year, starring Pharrell, Santogold and Julian Casablancas. I hope 2009 will be full of excellent branding campaigns, giving us new mind blowing artist collaborations. NOW CRANK IT UP!

This is the controversial winner of the Brand X competition by The Swedish Institute at Berghs 2008. The campaign “Stockholm Syndrome” was nominated together with 3 other contributions to the finals; where they collected more votes than the other 3 together by the jury.

Four days til Christmas and no presents bought yet…

So I woke up today, realized it was suddenly Saturday with the horrifying insight I’ve been fast asleep for over two days. I haven’t bought any of the Christmas gifts I was supposed to and I really haven’t cleaned the place up since… early fall.

So I’m feeling the Christmas panic slowly getting the hold of me. If you are like me (I know some of my classmates are…) you can easily spend seven minutes looking at this Eddie Izzard clip from -97 on the subject Christmas shopping:

“Christmas shopping: people do it. Yes. They do it early sometimes: they need to be shot. And some people do it late and they scream and they go ’shit, shit, shit, shit, shit’ a lot of the time. And that’s me.”

So with this, I wish you a panicking Christmas. If you see anyone wrapping presents on the local bus, it’s probably me or someone from Berghs Interactive Communication 08/09.
