A Swedish Classic

A Swedish Classic is to do “Vasaloppet” (Skiing), “Vätternrundan”, (Bicycle), “Vansbrosimmet”, (Swiming) and  “Lidingöloppet” (running) in one year. Myself and Magnus from the Interactive communication class is involved in a project where 3 guys will be participate in this competitions to complete the Swedish Classic. Here we will intergrate social media into a triple-blog to let everybody embark on this journey. Tomorrow (7/1) at 20.00 we will launch the site and at 22.00 we have arranged a big party at a nightclub.

Don’t hesitate to drop by for a glass of blueberrysoup.

Junglerules dictate…

There is a jungle of add-ons, applications, plug-ins, social media and smart .com features out there. Searching through this jungle can be like looking for flowers in a deep forest. To find the right paths one can use techblogs; and the fun is to mash the “flowers” to one service.

My favorite mash right know is probably Twingly’s microblogsearch engine (works like google, but in the microblogosphere) with Netvibes (works like a bookmarkingfeature on your startpage, but more extensive with RSS-flows). When combining the two you can subscript on one word e.g or a companyname (maybe your own for instance).

This man has probably already figured out that with this he  can get an updated list of everybody in the microblogosphere and what they are talking about that specific word or company.

A smoke signal

Yesterday I got blocked after posting a message of information to 7 people in a row on facebook, and explained the situation on their listed service mails, they’re dead silent. I went into Google this morning and they have also put some kind of block on me it seems.

I am a digital outkast in wait for a ship to come by and save me.

I tried to send out a smoke signal on my Twitter and now here, but my gut feeling says that I don’t have enought wood to get out. I need more wood.
